How SupportHub Passed a US Enterprise Audit by Bringing Screenshots On-Prem
A 180-agent BPO in Lahore moved off cloud-based agent monitoring to a self-hosted AuxBOS install — unblocking a $2M enterprise contract in the process.
01 The Challenge
SupportHub had built a solid mid-market BPO business handling English-language customer support for US retail brands. In early 2026 they had a chance at their biggest deal ever — a $2M/year contract with a US financial-services company. There was one blocker.
The prospect's security team pushed back on SupportHub's existing agent-monitoring stack:
- Hubstaff, Time Doctor and their productivity-monitoring vendor all routed agent screenshots through US-based cloud infrastructure — but SupportHub's contract required data to stay on infrastructure they controlled directly.
- SOC 2 auditors flagged "third-party cloud storage of monitoring data" as a finding that would delay onboarding by months.
- At 180 agents × $9-14/seat/month across three monitoring/HR SaaS tools, monthly software spend had crossed $4,200 with no end in sight — projected to hit $75k+/year at 250-agent scale.
Hina Siddiqui, SupportHub's VP of Operations, was told: solve the data-residency issue in 60 days, or the deal walks.
02 The Solution
SupportHub evaluated four alternatives: building custom monitoring in-house, running a self-hosted open-source tool, negotiating with Hubstaff for a private-hosting arrangement, and licensing AuxBOS. AuxBOS won on speed and completeness:
- Self-hosted by design. The install went on SupportHub's own on-prem server in their Lahore data center. Zero third-party access to agent data.
- Screenshot audit built in. No stitching together monitoring + HR + payroll — one platform covered it all.
- Unlimited agents. The one-time license covered 180 agents today and 300 tomorrow at the same cost.
- Air-gappable. The install runs without any outbound calls to third parties — an explicit requirement in the US client's contract.
The rollout was fast:
- Day 1-2: AuxBOS engineers installed the platform on SupportHub's on-prem server with the installation add-on.
- Day 3-5: Priya's team migrated employee records from BambooHR and imported 6 months of historical time data.
- Day 6-10: Pilot with a 20-agent team. Screenshot audit enabled with visible indicator. Team leads trained on the grid-view review workflow.
- Day 11-25: Rolled out to remaining 160 agents in three waves, coordinated with shift schedules.
- Day 30: Hubstaff, Time Doctor, and BambooHR cancelled. Agent monitoring, HR, attendance and payroll all running from one install.
The US client's SOC 2 auditor visited in week 5 and signed off on the arrangement — "monitoring data resides on the vendor's on-premise infrastructure in Pakistan" was exactly the answer they needed.
The screenshot audit feature revolutionised our quality assurance process. We can now verify agent performance in real-time and provide better coaching — and because everything stays on our own servers, our biggest client's security team could finally green-light us.
03 The Results
Three months into the rollout, SupportHub had transformed both its compliance posture and its operating economics:
- $2M enterprise contract signed. The data-residency blocker cleared. SupportHub started ramping the new account in month 3 with 40 additional agents — hired against the new revenue.
- Monthly software cost down 78%. Cancelling Hubstaff, Time Doctor, BambooHR and Time Camp saved $3,300/month. AuxBOS paid for itself in 78 days.
- Ready for scale. Adding 40 new agents cost zero extra software licensing — a huge relief for the growth path. Priya estimates SupportHub is now able to scale to 400+ agents on the same install with only server upgrades.
- QA workflow tightened. Team leads review a shift's worth of screenshots in the grid view in ~15 minutes, versus the 45+ minutes it used to take across three separate tools. Coaching sessions with agents are more specific and land better.
- Compliance answers got dramatically easier. The next two prospect security questionnaires took 30 minutes instead of 3 hours — most questions were answered with "runs on our own infrastructure."
SupportHub is now in discussions with AuxBOS about a custom-module add-on to output SLA reports in the exact schema their US clients require, and is exploring the white-label license to offer a branded portal to their two biggest accounts.
